The world's over obsession with COVID is driving me bonkers!
It is time to put the COVID case numbers to rest and actually start talking about HEALTH.
More people have died every single year from Obesity and Heart Disease than from the Coronavirus. There is a direct correlation between deaths associated with COVID and of people who are obese. In the first meta-analysis of its kind, published on 26 August in Obesity Reviews, an international team of researchers pooled data from scores of peer-reviewed papers capturing 399,000 patients. They found that people with obesity who contracted SARS-CoV-2 were 113% more likely than people of healthy weight to land in the hospital, 74% more likely to be admitted to an ICU, and 48% more likely to die.
Do not be mislead by the Mainstream Media and the Politicians who are failing to do their jobs. The mitigation efforts have been a total failure. People have not stayed home, separate or apart. The only ones who think this are the ones who have not left the house and who are just hanging out on Nextdoor and Facebook typing, "Wear a mask! Save me." If you are at home and you believe that people are separate together well, google: protests/riots, rallies, and then from the safety of your car go for a drive by any open outdoor restaurant. The reality is people are getting together and in fact there have been 112,944,900 births as of this second and every second a new baby is born. The total deaths this year for all causes is fewer than 50 million. That's right folks the world is still filling up and getting heavier by the second.
People aren't dropping dead everywhere of COVID like the Mainstream Media wants us to believe. This doesn't mean I don't think people should do what they need to do to protect themselves. We should all protect ourselves to the best of our abilities and the number one thing we need to protect ourselves from is from ourselves. It is what we put in our body by our own accord that has the greatest influence on our overall health and well-being. It is not someone else's bad breath, even if it is stinky, that can kill us. It is our own actions that can be far more deadly than any of the 219 viruses that are known to be able to infect humans. It is what we put into our mouths by choice that can destroy the gut microbiome and make us susceptible to viruses and chronic diseases such as Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Disease and hence make our bodies weak.
It is time that Americans wake up and SHAPE UP!
Those that are dying in the highest numbers are people who are not leaving their homes because most were already very ill. The pre-existing condition causing havoc on our health-care system is not COVID. It is obesity. Obesity is what is making people susceptible to COVID. No mask will save someone if they keep pulling it down to eat more food.

So while Savannah Guthrie wasted ten minutes pummeling Trump about why he wasn't wearing a mask at a private party she failed to recognize the opportunity to talk about real political issues such as the Health-Care System that was already to explode before we heard about COVID. She failed to ask important questions that could have inspired people to believe they too could fight off this virus. Does the Mainstream Media want everyone to hide out forever and stay plugged into their virus?....I think so. Take him or leave him. This is not an endorsement for Trump but what he does have going for him seems obvious to me because I have studied the effects of mindfulness on health. We know that people who "think" they can heal themselves often do just that; it is called a Placebo Effect. What the Media is doing is criminal because they are creating a NOCEBO EFFECT making people think themselves ill. Trump, though Psychologists have called him a narcissist, it does work in his favor for beating viruses that others are afraid of. He possesses a mindset where he believes he is GREAT and that he is invincible. His obsessions about his looks and appearance contributed to his speedy recovery. That and whatever miracle treatment he believes he got.
He looks healthy to me...accept for those dance moves.
The mask debate needs to be thrown out in the trash. Oh but wait...we can't even recycle these things. They will end up in a landfill. Maybe, we should do a controlled burn and burn them up!
The health officials are focusing on all of the wrong things. What a waste of money, time and resources to continue this nonsense about stopping the spread. What are we going to do? Should we wear a mask from now on until everyone is vaccinated for a virus with an overall 99% survival rate? No thank you!!
The mask weakens the immune system. And, it is what is inside someone's body and how the immune system of the individual person can handle the virus that matters most. We know that people who are overweight are at a greater risk because their bodies are already working overtime to pump blood through clogged arteries. When arteries are clogged up the heart has to go into overdrive anytime a new foreign antigen (virus) enters the airway.
The Public Health Officials look like idiots to people who understand the function of the gut microbiome. They need to stop it with their mask obsession! It doesn't matter how well someone puts a cloth covering over their nose and mouth when they pull it down to drink supersize 1,000 calorie slushie filled with high fructose corn syrup. We already know that the masks do not protect the person wearing them. The only function of the mask is to keep the mask wearers spit from ending up in someone else's nostrils. Don't take my word for it. The CDC and WHO have all thoroughly explained this. The CDC said, "Face masks help prevent people who have COVID-19, including those who are pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic, from spreading the virus to others." What they are failing to mention is the FACT that we aren't all walking around with COVID shooting out of our nostrils. I digress....let's get back to obesity. The thing we need to worry about spreading right now is the kids' waistlines who have been forced to this ridiculous stay-at-home-online education. Good JOB Health Team! Way to make the kids fatter, more depressed and drug dependent.
The best way to protect people from being injured from a virus is to get people off of the couch, out of the house and moving because it is Obesity that is the greatest threat to humanity. This should be so obvious to everyone but it is not because the Public Health Officials aren't telling anyone anything of value or giving people real options to ensure their safety. The Public Health officials are in fact telling people to do all of the wrong things. Their solution has been: STAY HOME, HIDEOUT, WEAR A MASK and WAIT FOR A CURE that might never come. The CDC doesn't have a clue as to what to do. First they say, "Don't wear a mask." Then they say, "Do wear a mask." And here are the latest words of wisdom from Robert Redfield, "If we could get everybody to wear a mask right now, I really THINK in the next four, six, eight weeks we could bring the epidemic under control." I don't want anyone who is overweight with obvious signs of physical deterioration to give me health advice. I don't care what medical school they went to. Thinking is not doing. We already know what people should be doing and that's getting fit. The fitter people are the better odds of survival they have. We have known this since the beginning of time. It is the strong that survive; survival of the fittest not the fattest.
The question I have at this point and what I have questioned all along is why does this virus need to be controlled? Why wasn't the CDC trying to control OBESITY with mitigation efforts? I hope everyone can see the insanity when Fast Food Restaurants were allowed to remain open but in California gyms still remain closed. Is there an evil plan to kill everyone? Here's what the world needs to know:
Every year between 100,000 to 400,000 people die of obesity. Did we shut down business so people could go out for a walk? Nope. We did not.
To date: there are over 40 million cases of covid worldwide that have been confirmed and the death rate has remained fairly consistent. If it were such a dangerous virus that needed to be controlled wouldn't the number of deaths be going up exponentially with the number of cases? CASES don't mean anything. At this point when we hear CASES are going up we should all be cheering. As long as more people aren't dying as CASES go up that means we are getting closer and closer to herd immunity. HOORAY!
Herd Immunity is the point at which a disease can no longer trigger epidemic outbreak because enough of the population has developed immunity. Healthy people who get COVID, for the most part, seem to be doing just fine. So, thank all of those healthy people you see out running around. They are saving lives and trust me, they aren't out licking people and infecting them with viruses. They are just minding their business and taking care of their bodies. These reports of long-term side-effects of COVID seem to have more to do with the FACT that people were put on ventilator; not to the virus but how the virus was treated. Ventilator are known to be deadly, in some cases, it is the ventilator that creates long-term damage to the respiratory tract. Think about it....a giant plastic tube gets inserted into the nose or mouth and then moved down into the throat and in the windpipe...ouch.

The Public Health Officials need to give the covid case numbers a rest and start actually doing their job. They should be telling people how to be healthy. A mask is and never will be a path towards greater immunity. What does provide greater immunity is one's LIFESTYLE. Lifestyle choices have a direct effect on the IMMUNE SYSTEM. Everything we put into our bodies affects our overall health and well-being.
